The objective of this course is to equip Indian energy professionals with a comprehensive understanding of European electricity market designs and mechanisms, enabling them to strategically adapt successful strategies for India's unique energy transition challenges, particularly in integrating renewable energy, ensuring grid stability through capacity and ancillary markets, and fostering innovation through emerging technologies.
Course structure
The course starts from basic introductory material and then aims to cover some of the major subjects of electricity markets in depth. Instructors will provide a lecture focusing on the key theoretical concepts complemented by real and current examples from the industry.
